Sanchali Pal

Co-founder and CEO, Joro

Sanchali Pal is the co-founder of Joro, an app and growing community of users that helps individuals to track and improve their carbon footprints to benefit themselves and the planet.

Pal earned an undergraduate degree in Economics from Princeton where her interest in the impact of food choices on climate change and how technology can build smarter cities intersected. After graduation, she became a management consultant at Dalberg, specializing in urban sustainability. She acquired deep experience within emerging markets in Asia, Africa, and India. In 2016, she left to pursue an MBA from HBS. She participated in HBS Startup Bootcamp and developed an idea for a startup, Loop, an app that calculated an individual’s carbon footprint by tracking and analyzing food consumption
